  Thanks for your posting on this site. From my own experience, occasionally softening right up a photograph could provide the photo shooter with an amount of an artsy flare. Often however, that soft clouds isn't just what exactly you had as the primary goal and can often times spoil an otherwise good picture, especially if you anticipate enlarging them.
